Editorial.

Unimore has received the highest rating from ANVUR (“Fully satisfactory”) in the AVA3 accreditation process,
placing it among the top universities in Italy. The assessment covered the entire university system, evalu-
ating aspects such as strategy, research, teaching, quality assurance, resource management, and social
impact. Out of 24 indicators examined, 18 received the highest possible rating. The report highlights the
efficiency of governance, transparency in resource management, the quality of teaching, inclusion, acces-
sibility, and a robust quality assurance system. It also values the coherence of research and third mission
activities, with Departments and Doctoral programmes well-structured and geared towards internationalisa-
tion. In the context of the 850th anniversary of its founding, Unimore reaffirms itself as a solid, self-aware
university committed to continuous improvement, thanks to the shared dedication of its entire academic
community.
