Green&Pink for Sustainable Education – GPS Education
The Green&Pink for Sustainable Education – GPS Education project, funded by the NRRP, aims to promote
international cooperation between Italian and foreign universities, focusing on sustainability and gender
equality. Coordinated by the University of Foggia, it involves 9 Italian universities and 41 foreign universities
from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Cambodia, and China. Unimore participates through the Depart-
ment of Life Sciences (DSV), Engineering (DIEF and DISMI), with Prof. Enrico Francia as the scientific coor-
dinator. The project addresses issues of sustainable agriculture, environmental chemistry, and sustainable
logistics. The €2.6 million funding will support faculty and student mobility and the creation of joint educa-
tional hubs. The project also strengthens collaborations with universities in Argentina and Brazil, promot-
ing outgoing and incoming mobility for students and faculty. Prof. Francia highlights the importance of the
project in expanding educational experiences and consolidating Unimore’s international presence.
