Modena hosts the XXIII Chemistry Day in Emilia-Romagna

The XXIII Chemistry Day of Emilia Romagna (GdC-ER 2024) will be held on Thursday 19 December at the
Fondazione Marco Biagi in Modena, in collaboration with the Italian Chemical Society (SCI-ER) and the
patronage of Unimore. The event, free of charge and with over 200 participants, will have as its theme
“Chemistry for future challenges” and will focus on the role of chemistry in sustainability and innovation.
The Marco Biagi Foundation will host academic and industrial experts, including Fabrizio Cavani (University
of Bologna) and Antonio Ricci (Fresenius Kabi). The day will include scientific communication sessions, an
extensive poster exhibition and presentations by PhD students, with talks by Alessia Bacchi (University of
Parma) and Mirko Buffagni (Graf Industries). The event will conclude with awards for the best presentations.
This meeting represents an important opportunity for exchange between the academic and industrial worlds,
thanks also to the support of the Modena Foundation and local companies.
